In summer 2015 GCU welcomed over 80 international students and staff onto its campuses in Glasgow and London for a variety of academic programmes, combined with social excursions and events. With our New York campus now also available, and an increased offering of credit-bearing programmes, 2016 will be our biggest International Summer School to date.
GCU's International Summer School is aimed at ambitious and socially engaged students who wish to be the leaders and game-changers of tomorrow. GCU is a UK university with a deep-rooted social conscience and commitment to the "Common Good" enshrined in its motto. We are a signatory to the United Nations PRME initiative and the first Scottish University to join the United Nations Global Compact, the largest voluntary corporate initiative in the world.

Credit-bearing programmes for individual applicants
We will be offering a range of credit-bearing programmes on our Glasgow campus, available to individual applicants from around the world. Students from our partner institutions are eligible for a 15% discount on the course fee, which includes accommodation, airport transfer and social excursions as well as tuition. Please see the attached brochure for details of available courses, and our exciting social programme which allows participants to experience the best of Glasgow and Scotland.

Summer Experiences for Groups
Our Glasgow, London and New York* campuses will also be available to host tailor-made experiences for groups of students and/or staff from our partner institutions. If any colleagues from your institution are interested in leading their group on an academic programme in a particular subject area, please do get in touch. We would be delighted to work with your institution to deliver an unforgettable experience for your group.

Comparative Forensic Sciences 2016
From July 14 to August 6, 2016, GCU's School of Engineering and Built Environment will be running its Comparative Forensic Sciences programme. In previous years this programme ran exclusively for students from California State University?s Long Beach campus. The department is delighted to announce that 2016's session will be open to individual applicants and groups from around the world.
