Learning Object: Management and protection of the coastal zone
Familiarization with the processes occurring in a coastal zone and development of management methods
Learning Object: Liquid waste treatment
Familiarization with the physical, chemical and biological processes occurring in a biological treatment. Familiarization with the results in the case of changing flows and input concentrations and the operation conditions.
Learning Object: Modification of traffic infrastructure targeting the harmonious integration into the environment
Familiarization with the policies of transport infrastructure, soft transport modes, environmental design of transport projects

1. Environmental protection technology
2. Environmental restoration with emphasis on transportation works
3. Upgrading and maintenance of infrastructure works
4. Technical works for the protection and restoration of coasts and landscape

Teaching Method: Distance education with five Contact Sessions held at weekends during the academic year

Evaluation: Completion of six written assignments during the academic year, the average grade of which constitute a 30 percent of each student's grade, if a pass is obtained in the final or repetitive examination. Final exam grades constitute a 70 percent of the students' final course grade. More information is available
