The Vice President for Finance, Planning and Development has responsibilities regarding the supervision of the Department of Financial Affairs, issues directly or indirectly related to the assets (movable, immovable and intangible) of the Foundation, as well as issues related to donations or bequests to the Hellenic Open University, as well as issues related to the planning and construction of buildings, infrastructure networks, classrooms, equipment, as well as technical works and studies related to the above. Any issue related to the design of the computerization of all administrative and academic units and services of the Foundation, as well as the design and implementation of computer systems and networks to support any administrative, educational and research work of the University. In addition, he is responsible for the supervision of the organization and operation of all technical services, computer services, e-government communications, networks, as well as any issue directly or indirectly related to the Quality Systems (ISO) of HOU, their updating, continuous improvement and effective implementation, the monitoring of their performance and reviews, the communication with Public or Municipal Authorities, natural or legal persons and the awareness of all staff and employees of the Foundation for compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
