{"id":42357,"date":"2023-09-13T11:46:48","date_gmt":"2023-09-13T08:46:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eap.gr\/?p=42357"},"modified":"2023-09-13T11:46:49","modified_gmt":"2023-09-13T08:46:49","slug":"call-for-registration-to-the-massive-open-online-course-mooc-on-financial-literacy-in-the-digital-age-for-young-people-and-youth-workers-of-the-empowering-the-youth-through-financial-literacy-eu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eap.gr\/en\/2023\/09\/13\/call-for-registration-to-the-massive-open-online-course-mooc-on-financial-literacy-in-the-digital-age-for-young-people-and-youth-workers-of-the-empowering-the-youth-through-financial-literacy-eu\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for registration to the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on financial literacy in the digital age for young people and youth workers of the &#8220;Empowering the youth through Financial Literacy&#8221; EU project by DAISSy-HOU\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU)<\/strong> invites young people and youth workers to participate in<strong> the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)<\/strong> financed by the &#8220;<strong>Empowering the youth through Financial Literacy<\/strong>&#8221; European project, in order to increase financial literacy through innovative, easily accessible and understandable non-formal education methodologies as well as practical activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u03a4he respective <strong>MOOC <\/strong>is developed by DAISSy-HOU, the Greek project partner,<strong>&nbsp;is open<\/strong> to all and includes educational material, presentations, relevant informative material, practical manuals, as well as self-assessment questions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>It is <strong>free of charge<\/strong> and is provided <strong>in English<\/strong>, through the online educational platform of the project, developed by DAISSy-HOU.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>It starts on <\/strong><strong>Monday 25<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong>September 2023<\/strong>, and has a total duration of <strong>21 hours<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants who successfully complete the MOOC, receive a<strong> Certificate <\/strong>of completion.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It includes <strong>six (6) thematic units<\/strong>, as follows: &nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Section 1. INTRODUCTION TO FINANCIAL LITERACY\u00a0<br>Section 2. BUDGETING \u00a0<br>Section 3. FUNDING \u00a0<br>Section 4. INVESTMENTS \u00a0\u00a0<br>Section 5. TAXATION \u00a0<br>Section 6.
