{"id":48558,"date":"2024-04-19T14:14:23","date_gmt":"2024-04-19T11:14:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eap.gr\/?p=48558"},"modified":"2024-04-19T14:14:24","modified_gmt":"2024-04-19T11:14:24","slug":"daissy-hou-joined-the-kick-off-transnational-partners-meeting-of-the-gendered-coalition-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eap.gr\/en\/2024\/04\/19\/daissy-hou-joined-the-kick-off-transnational-partners-meeting-of-the-gendered-coalition-project\/","title":{"rendered":"DAISSy-HOU joined the kick-off Transnational Partners\u2019 Meeting of the \u201cGenderED Coalition\u201d project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/daissy.eap.gr\/en\/\">DAISSy Research Group<\/a> of the Hellenic Open University (HOU)<\/strong> participates as the Greek partner, in the recently approved European project entitled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genderedcoalition.net\/\">GenderED Coalition &#8211; A cross-country coalition against gender disinformation for equitable societies<\/a>, which is co-funded by the <strong>Creative Europe Programme (CREA) <\/strong>and aims at creating a safer, more equitable digital space, where gender disinformation is identified and positive social change is promoted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, on <strong>6th and 7th December 2023<\/strong>, the <strong>kick-off Transnational Partners&#8217; Meeting (TPM) <\/strong>of the GenderED Coalition project was held, organized by <strong>SDA, project Coordinator<\/strong>, and hosted at its headquarters in <strong>Sofia (Bulgaria),<\/strong> with the physical presence of partners and the possibility of parallel participation online.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DAISSy-HOU participated in the GenderED Coalition kick-off TPM and was represented by Achilles Kameas, Professor at HOU, Director of DAISSy, Kostas Potsis, Project Manager of DAISSy, Aspasia (Sissy) Theodosiou and Kostas Mantzos, Researchers of DAISSy.
