The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU)<\/strong> participated in the International Conference<\/strong> and the final Transnational Project Meeting (TPM)<\/strong> of the European project ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership \u2013 ANGEL<\/strong><\/a>, which marked its successful completion. They took place during June 10-14, 2024<\/strong> in Kuala Lumpur<\/strong>, Malaysia and were organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Project Coordinator. DAISSy-HOU, Greek partner of ANGEL, actively participated in these activities and was represented by Achilles Kameas, Professor of HOU and Director of the Research Team, and the Project Manager of ANGEL, Mr. Konstantinos Potsis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In particular, during June 10-12, 2024<\/strong>, the project’s International Conference<\/strong> was held, focusing on green entrepreneurship and leadership<\/strong>, bringing together international partners to promote sustainable practices<\/strong>. The event gathered more than 200 participants, which besides the ANGEL project partners, included students, researchers, intellectuals, professionals, industry representatives and academics. It gained their interest through constructive sessions, case studies and networking opportunities.\u03a4he conference also included an innovation competition (where DAISSy was represented in the jury) and a special ceremony for nominating awards and appraisals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 13, 2024<\/strong>, the final Transnational Project Meeting <\/strong>of the ANGEL took place, where the progress of the implementation of its deliverables and the achievement of the indicators were discussed in detail. The TPM concluded on June 14 2024<\/strong>, with a field visit to local businesses <\/strong>implementing sustainable practices,which are examples of good practices, providing the opportunity of experience exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is noteworthy that on behalf of DAISSy-HOU, Prof. Achilles Kameas in recognition of the hospitality of the local organizers<\/strong>, presented the representatives of the three hosting Universities, with a commemorative present<\/strong>, and invited them to collaborate with HOU in future endeavors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
