STEAM Education and the project SpicE: An opportunity for educators and schools\u00bb<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Infoday is co-organised by the<strong> 1<sup>st<\/sup> Position Educational Advisor for Philologists of Achaia, and the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and 6<sup>th<\/sup> Position Educational Advisors for Primary School Teachers of Achaia, Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Western Greece<\/strong>, is addressed to Teachers of Primary and Secondary Education at national level, and is held on <strong>Friday 6<sup>th<\/sup> September 2024<\/strong> (<strong><em>08.30-14.00, EEST<\/em><\/strong><em>)<\/em>, at the <strong>Conference Hall of the Hellenic Open University (Building D, <\/strong>Aristotelous 18 str., Perivola, Patras), with parallel broadcasting (<strong>live-streaming) <\/strong>through YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is part of the implementation of the \u00ab<strong>Special Education STEAM Academy (SpicE)<\/strong>\u00bb European project, by DAISSy-HOU as the <strong>Coordinator<\/strong>, and under the Scientific Supervision of Achilles Kameas, Dean of School of Science and Technology, HOU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, <strong>SpicE is the only project to combine STEAM Education with Inclusive Education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You can pre-submit questions through the use of a respective form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A \u00abCertificate of Attendance\u00bb will be given to any participant who wish for it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is noteworthy, that various interesting topics are included in the Infoday, and among them is the modular <strong>Educational Programme for Inclusive STEAM Education<\/strong> (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) of the <strong>European project SpicE<\/strong>. The Educational Programme is offered <strong>free of charge<\/strong> and is launched on <strong>Monday 9<sup>th<\/sup> September 2024<\/strong> with the enactment of a Massive Open Online Course-<strong>MOOC<\/strong> entitled \u00abSTEAM education for all learners: Incorporating STEAM and Inclusive education practices in everyday teaching\u00bb, which can be complemented with the <strong>SpicE Blended Learning programme<\/strong> and <strong>SpicE mobility scheme for educators<\/strong>.
