{"id":56318,"date":"2025-03-04T14:01:49","date_gmt":"2025-03-04T12:01:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eap.gr\/?p=56318"},"modified":"2025-03-04T14:02:07","modified_gmt":"2025-03-04T12:02:07","slug":"invitation-to-the-training-event-on-gendered-disinformation-by-daissy-hou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eap.gr\/en\/2025\/03\/04\/invitation-to-the-training-event-on-gendered-disinformation-by-daissy-hou\/","title":{"rendered":"Invitation to the Training Event on Gendered Disinformation by DAISSy-HOU"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/daissy.eap.gr\/en\/\"><strong>DAISSy Research Group<\/strong><\/a><strong> of the Hellenic Open University (HOU)<\/strong> invites you to participate in the training event entitled <strong>&#8220;Recognizing and Combating Gendered Disinformation: Tools and Strategies for an Inclusive Digital Space&#8221;<\/strong>, that takes place on <strong>Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 12:00\u2019 to 19:00<\/strong>\u2019(CEST) at the <strong>HOU premises, in Athens <\/strong>(Address: 4-6 Gravias str.). This event is a key initiative of the \u201c<strong>GenderED Coalition: A cross-country coalition against gender disinformation for equitable societies<\/strong>\u201d European project<strong>, <\/strong>currently undergoingby DAISSy-HOU as the Greek partner. The project aims to empower professionals in the field of Media and Information Literacy (MIL) to effectively tackle gendered disinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More specifically, the GenderED Coalition training event incorporates lectures, interactive workshops, and participatory sessions, enabling participants to acquire practical skills and knowledge, to be able to recognize and address gender stereotypes and biases in the media and digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Participation is <strong>free of charge<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pre-registration<\/strong> is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration starts on <strong>Tuesday, March 4<\/strong>, and finishes on <strong>Friday, March 14, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Limited seats<\/strong> are available and so, the evaluation involves criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>certificate of participation<\/strong> will be awarded upon completion of the training event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is noteworthy, that the training event is linked to the <strong>ALL DIGITAL Weeks 2025<\/strong> campaign, which is organized by the ALL DIGITAL (AD), a leading pan-European association based in Brussels.
