The Congress was a major event dedicated to advancing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) education through collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity. Organized by the <strong>STEAMbrace <\/strong>project, the Congress brought together more than 150 educators, researchers, students, policymakers, and industry leaders from across Europe to explore cutting-edge methodologies, hands-on workshops, and discussions on gender equality, diversity and inclusion in STEAM education and careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DAISSy-HOU<\/strong> was actively involved in the 1st European STEAM Congress by presenting two posters, about project <strong>SpicE <\/strong>and project <strong>The SEER<\/strong>. HOU Professor Achilles Kameas, Director of DAISSy Research Group, was invited to present <strong>a comprehensive approach to STEAM educators\u2019 competence development<\/strong>, and to participate in a panel discussion on the topic of gender equality in STEAM education and careers.
