This programme offers meaningful volunteering opportunities across Europe in key areas such as digital transformation, climate emergency, democracy, and European values. The program is open to students from <strong>underrepresented groups<\/strong> who are enrolled at OpenEU partner institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Why Participate?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gain valuable experience<\/strong> working with civil society organizations (CSOs) and non-profit partners across Europe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contribute to important causes<\/strong> like climate change, democracy, and digital inclusion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial support<\/strong> will be provided to cover mobility costs, including travel and accommodation, depending on the availability of a volunteering placement.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We welcome applications from individuals who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Are enrolled at OpenEU partner universities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Belong to an underrepresented group (e.g., Women in STEAM, migrants and refugees, people with disabilities, and people living in rural areas).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit a <strong>letter of motivation<\/strong> explaining why you are interested in participating in the program.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>What\u2019s Offered?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Financial Support<\/strong> for mobility, including travel and accommodation, provided there is proof of placement with a vetted CSO or non-profit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Personal and professional development opportunities<\/strong> through engagement with significant civic and social initiatives.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the <strong>OpenEU Volunteer Portal<\/strong> and apply for a volunteer opportunity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After applying, complete the <strong>Volunteering Programme Application Form<\/strong> and submit your <strong>letter of motivation<\/strong> to express interest in mobility funding.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Selection Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated financial need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Belonging to an underrepresented group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivation to contribute to social and civic initiatives.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> January 31, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Applications Reviewed:<\/strong> February-March 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Notification of Selection:<\/strong> Late March-Early April 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Open Call Placements End:<\/strong> September 2026<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are excited to build a vibrant and inclusive volunteering community across OpenEU.
