Significant interest was attracted by the event entitled \u201cUniversity and the Social and Solidarity Economy: Innovation Ecosystems\u201d<\/strong>, organised by the DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU)<\/strong>, as part of the \u201c<\/strong>Entrepreneurial and Innovation Proficiency: A Way to Digital Agenda (EPIDA)\u201d <\/strong>European project, currently undergoing by the Research Group as the Greek partner. The event took place on 17 September 2026 in Athens-Greece<\/strong> (at ETERON venue), and was also streamed online<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Directorate of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) of the Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs<\/strong> honoured the event through its active involvement, while participants were numerous and included representatives of Universities (academics, students and graduates), public authorities, local government organisations, SSE entities, as well as employees and self-employed professionals from various fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity included speeches and vivid duscussions on topics related to SSE. In parallel, it emphasized on the goals of the EPIDA project and the dynamic role of the DAISSy-HOU about the development of digital skills, Circular Learning Mobility, and exchage of  good practices from the field. As a result, among others, the event highlighted the need for a strong and interconnected ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
