It is with great satisfaction that we inform you that the learning path “Digital Citizen” has been published in the National Academy of Digital Skills. The path was created by the DAISSy research group of HOU, which undertook the instructional design, the development of raw educational material and the evaluation, after being commissioned by the Ministry of Digital Governance. We are proud of the result, which puts our knowledge and experience of European digital competence frameworks and online course design at the service of citizens, helping to improve citizens’ competences thus leading to a more inclusive society. The implementation of the “Digital Citizen” learning path follows after the creation of the online tool for the self-assessment of basic digital skills, which has already been integrated into the website of the National Digital Skills Academy (more information can be found here: https://www.eap. gr/2021/03/10/symmetoxi-daissy-tou-eap-psifiakh-akadhmia-politwn/).

The learning path “Digital Citizen” is a series of five courses of the National Digital Skills Academy. It leads to the development of basic digital skills, so that citizens can use the Internet to carry out the tasks necessary for their daily life. The courses are developed based on the European Digital Competence Framework (DigiComp). Each course includes a final assessment that leads to receiving a certificate of attendance.

You can use the course by following the link https://nadia.gov.gr/. On this page you will also find a nicely designed video that explains the goals and expected results of the learning path. The path has already been presented by the Ministry of Digital Governance at the International Fair of Thessaloniki 2022 and is available to visitors.
