UPS

The Hellenic Open University (HOU), in response to the call of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) regarding Undergraduate Programmes of Study (UPS), submitted an application for the Academic Accreditation of the Undergraduate Programmes of Study (UPS) of the Foundation. The accreditation process began in February 2021 and is expected to be completed in the near future. To date, the accreditation process has been completed for the following HOU Undergraduate Programmes of Study:

Business and Organization Administration (BOA)	1-6 February 2021	The Evaluation and Accreditation Council of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), at its 11th/24-03-2021 meeting, certified that the Undergraduate Programmes of Study, Business and Organization Administration (BOA) of the HOU fully complies (Fully Compliant)with the principles of the Quality Standard IQAS of the ΗΑΗE and the Quality Assurance Principles of the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015) for level 6 of the National and European Qualifications Framework. The duration of the Accreditation is set for four years, from 24-03-2021 to 23-03-25. The Evaluation and Accreditation Council of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), at its 25th/20-10-2022 meeting, decided the change of the validity period from four to five years, starting from 24-03-21 to 23-03-26. Information Technology (IT)	12-17 April 2021	The Evaluation and Accreditation Council of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), at its 13rd/13-07-2021 meeting, certified that the Undergraduate Programmes of Information Technology (IT) of the HOU fully complies (Fully Compliant) with the principles of the Quality Standard IQAS of the ΗΑΗE and the Quality Assurance Principles of the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015) for level 6 of the National and European Qualifications Framework. The duration of the Accreditation is set for four years, from 13-07-21 to 12-07-25. Hispanic Language and Civilization Studies (ISP)	6-11 June 2022	The Evaluation and Accreditation Council of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), during its 26th/16-12-2022 meeting, certified that the Undergraduate Program “Hispanic Language and Civilization Studies (ISP)” of the HOU is fully compliant with the principles of the “Standards for Quality Accreditation of Undergraduate Programmes” of the HAHE and the Standards and guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015) corresponding to level 6 of the National and European Qualifications Framework.
