The ICODL 2025, the 13th International Conference on Open and Distance Learning, is organized by the Hellenic Open University (HOU) and the Hellenic Network of Open and Distance Education. It is the only conference in Greece exclusively dedicated to distance education, systematically held every two years since 2001, and has been established as a leading institution in the field of open and distance learning.
The conference hosts distinguished keynote speakers from Greece and abroad, including Henri Giroux, Józefa Fawcett, Alexis Kokkos, Chrissi Nerantzi, Allan Bruce, Panagiotis Anastasidis, and Giorgos Tsiolis. The program features five round tables and four experiential workshops, covering a wide range of topics related to openness, artificial intelligence, accessibility, and contemporary pedagogical and technological approaches.
In addition, more than 110 presentations by Greek and international researchers will be delivered, all of which have undergone a double-blind peer review process.
A special highlight of ICODL 2025 will be the participation of the Music School, which will perform on Friday, December 5, at 20:30, offering a unique cultural experience to the conference attendees.
The ICODL 2025 represents a unique opportunity for scientists, researchers, educators, and professionals to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore the future prospects of open and distance education.
