
The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), announces the launch of the pilot phase of the short-term online courses for engineers and procurers/designers of smart and resilient communities.
The courses were developed within the framework of the “SMARCO-Blueprint for SMARt Communities’s Skills Development in Europe“ European project, currently undergoing by DAISSy–HOU as the Greek partner. The main objective of the SMARCO project is the development of two new occupational profiles and the corresponding training programmes, in order to equip students and professionals with the necessary skills, so as to build smarter and more resilient communities across Europe.
It is noteworthy that:
- The short-term online courses will start in early March 2026 and they will be offered free of charge, in English.
- The courses cover a part of the overall skill set required for each of the two occupational profiles, with six (6) training modules for each profile.
- The estimated study duration for each module is 4 hours, and learners are offered the possibility of self-paced learning.
