As part of the European project “OpenEU”, a visit was carried out to Fan S. Noli University in Korçë, Albania, on 17 and 18 March 2025, with the primary aim of exploring and strengthening collaboration in the promotion of digital education.
The specific objectives of the visit included:
- Identifying key members of the academic and administrative staff who can collaborate with the team of Work Package 5 (WP5) – “Build capacity and harness the power of digital education”, with the aim of developing an open and supportive digital learning environment.
- Mapping the existing capabilities for the development of digital learning and education activities, and submitting proposals and recommendations regarding indicators used to measure the transition to a modern digital educational environment.
During the visit, meetings were held with members of the academic and administrative staff of the University. The meetings were attended by the Vice-Rector for Research, Dr. Aida Mosko, and several members of the teaching and administrative staff involved in European programs, research, and agricultural economics and education. On behalf of the Hellenic Open University (H.O.U.), the meetings were attended by Associate Professor, Dr. Georgios Koulouzidis.
The visit marked an important step towards strengthening collaboration between the participating institutions, laying the foundations for the successful implementation of the OpenEU project’s activities and the broader promotion of digital education.
