Curriculum Vitae

Eleftherios Protopapas is an Assistant Professor at the School of Science and Technology (SST) of the Hellenic Open University (HOU). He graduated from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Patras in 1993, obtained his Master’s degree from HOU in 2009, and completed his PhD in Applied Mathematics at HOU in 2013, with a dissertation titled: “Stokes flow problems with applications in hemodynamics.”

From 1996 to 2000, he worked in private tutoring centers, followed by a period in private education (2000–2004) and public secondary education (2004–2017). From 2017 to 2026, he served as Laboratory Teaching Staff in the Mathematics Sector of the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences (SAMPS) at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since 2026, he is an Assistant Professor at the School of Science and Technology of the Hellenic Open University. Between 2020 and 2026, he was a member of the HOU Adjunct Academic Staff for the course “General Mathematics I (FYE10)” within the undergraduate program “Studies in Natural Sciences.”
