The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), the Greek partner of the “AI Literacy for Multidisciplinary Professional Readiness and Outreach (AIM-PRO)” European project, presented it at the Regional Growth Conference (RGC) 2026, on 21.5.2026, in Patras (Greece). This regards a high scale conference taking place in a hybrid mode, that has become an annual institution attracting numerous participants representing various socio-economic sectors.
More precisely, Achilles KAMEAS, Professor at HOU, Director of DAISSy delivered a speech on “Building AI Literacy for a Responsible, Green and Innovative Europe” within the workshop entitled “From Artificial Intelligence to the Skills of the Future“, that was organizedin the framework of Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation – Generative AI Skills Academy (GenAISA) project. Achilles presented the main objectives of the AIM-PRO project, the research approach and the current actions
The RWC 2026 conference provided a favourable opportunity for exchange and networking and DAISSy-HOU is thankful to the organisers and especially to the workshop hosts for safeguarding a high-level environment of scientific and developmental dialogue.
