Upon the completion of this course graduates will:

The Post-graduate programme accepts graduates or higher institution diplomas of related disciplines. The programme is offered in Greek.
The knowledge of a foreign language and good computer-Internet skills would be useful for the successful participation in the programme.
Note:
Holders of a degree or diploma of higher education means graduates of Greek Universities or Polytechnics or Higher School of Fine Arts or Higher School of Pedagogical and Technological Education or Higher Technological Educational Institutions (ATEI) or those who hold academically equivalent first cycle degrees from recognized foreign educational institutions with the degrees awarded by the Greek Higher Educational Institutions, in accordance with the provisions of article 304 of Law No. 4957/2022 (Government Gazette 141/21.07.2022, vol.)
Marking:
For the evaluation of the application to the Postgraduate Studies Programme, it will be examined whether the candidate’s institution of study is or may be included in the National Register of Recognised Higher Education Institutions of Foreign Countries and whether the candidate’s degree is or may be included in the National Register of Types of Degrees of Recognised Institutions of Foreign Countries.
The Hellenic Open University, if the degree is included in the list of article 307 of Law No. 4957/2022, must request a “Certificate of Place of Study”, which is issued and sent by the foreign university. If the place of study or part of the studies is confirmed as the Greek territory, the degree is not recognized, unless the part of the studies that took place in the Greek territory is in a public higher education institution or in a recognized foreign educational institution within the meaning of paragraph b) of article 299 of Law No. 4957/2022.

Module Selection Instructions
Students in the 1st year of studies are encouraged to select up to three modules, if they have the necessary required time. In this case they have to select the modules KFE51 and KFE60 which are compulsory, while the third module can be chosen between the KFE52 and KFE53.
If students do not possess the necessary required time, they are recommended to select as their first module, the one that is most similar to the subject of their bachelor’s degree.
Students in the 2nd year of studies can choose the Master’s Diploma Thesis either with the simultaneous participation in the last module KFE52, KFE53, KFE61 or KFE62 either after successfully attending the four modules of the programme.
Students who wish to select the module KFE61 should have successfully attended the module KFE51.
The selection of the module precedes the selection of the Master’s Diploma Thesis.
During the module selection, all modules from the 1st academic years must be selected and consequently the modules of the 2nd academic year can be selected.
In order to complete the Programme in two academic years, students must successfully complete three modules in their first year (according to the aforementioned instructions), and the fourth module concurrently with the Master’s Diploma Thesis in the second academic year.
The presentation of the Master’s Diploma Thesis takes place after the successful completion of the program’s Modules.
To earn the Master’s degree, students must successfully complete four (4) modules – two (2) of which are compulsory (C) and two (2) optional (O) – as well as the successful preparation and presentation of the Master’s Diploma Thesis or the successful completion of three (3) Modules – two (2) of which are compulsory (C) and one (1) optional (O) -, one (1) laboratory module as well as the successful preparation and presentation of the Master’s Diploma Thesis.
