I would like to learn more about the scholarships offered by the H.O.U.

The H.O.U. Scholarship Regulation (here) provides all the information required for the criteria and the procedure followed.

When can I submit my application for a scholarship on social criteria?

For the Study Programs with annual Thematic Units the applications are submitted from November to December of each academic year. For the Study Programs with semestrial Thematic Units the applications are submitted from November to December for the winter semester and from April to May for the spring semester of each academic year.

How do i get notified about the opening dates of the scholarships on social criteria?

Notifications will be posted in the University’s website www.eap.gr and will be sent the students’ academic email.

Where do I submit my application for scholarship on social criteria?

Your application should be submitted online in the platform dev.eap.gr when the procedure starts. Students use their academic credentials to enter the platform.

How can I be informed about Scholarship assessment results?

Students that have applied for a scholarship will be informed via their academic email after the completion of the procedure.

Which income is taken into account when I’m married or have contracted a civil union?

In case the candidate for scholarship is married or has contracted a civil union, the sum of the income of both spouses is taken into account.

Can I apply for a social criteria Scholarship if I attend a Joint Postgraduate Program?

Students enrolled in joint Post-graduate Study Programs are not eligible to receive social criteria-based scholarships.

Is it required to submit an application in order to receive an academic excellence scholarship?

Students are not required to submit an application in order to receive an academic excellence scholarship as the responsible department holds the procedure automatically.

How do I get notified if I am awarded to an academic excellence Scholarship?

Students that are entitled to an academic excellence scholarship are informed by email after the completion of the procedure.

Can I apply for an academic excellence Scholarship if I attend a Joint Postgraduate Program?

Students enrolled in joint Post-graduate Study Programs are not eligible to receive academic excellence scholarships.

When can I submit an application for a 20% discount in tuition fees to relatives who attend a H.O.U Study Program at the same time?

The applications are submitted during the academic year/semester and students are informed about all the necessary information and deadlines in their academic email.

Who is eligible for a 20% discount on the tuition fees?

The discount concerns: a) Spouses b) parents with unmarried children (their familial status has never changed) c) unmarried siblings considered dependents members (their familial status has never changed) and at the same time they study in HOU Program Studies (not Joint Study Programs).

When and how do I get informed if I am eligible for the 20% discount in my tuition fees?

The results of the 20% discount is subsequent to the scholarships (academic excellence Scholarship and scholarship on social criteria) offered by the University according to the H.O.U. Scholarship Regulation. The results are usually announced in autumn of each academic year. Scholarship recipients are notified to their academic email.
