The 4th Scientix Conference will take place online on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 November 2022. Participation in the conference is free of charge and by registration only on the Scientix website.
The conference, organised by European Schoolnet, is one of the major and most inspiring science education networking events in Europe: for more than ten years Scientix, the science education community in Europe, has been promoting and supporting collaboration among STEM teachers, education researchers, policymakers, industry partners and other STEM education professionals all over Europe and beyond.
The goals of the 4th Scientix Conference are to provide an overview of the challenges and opportunities in science education in Europe and to highlight the potential and possibilities that the Scientix community can bring about. The conference is a unique opportunity to learn more about different STEM education projects, deepen connections, and generate new ideas among science educators.
The conference will be opened by Niki Kerameus, the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. Professor Achilles Kameas of Hellenic Open University will participate in the round table on “STE(A)M and the future of Education”. The programme includes high level speakers, exciting round tables, as well as online presentations and hands-on workshops. Posters will also be made available in a digital format. The new format of the conference is designed to create an interactive participant experience and offer different types of networking opportunities.
