
The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), announces the launch of implementation of the “Digital Citizenship Education (DigiCitizenEdu)” European project, which was designed, so as to respond to broader European priorities for strengthening Digital Citizenship Education. The project aims at empowering adult educators in both formal and non-formal education settings, and citizens with digital inclusion needs, by enhancing their understanding of Digital Citizenship, European common values, civic engagement, and democratic participation.
DAISSy-HOU, the Greek partner, participates in core DigiCitizenEdu project activities and based on its longstanding expertise, is responsible for the work package about the design, development, and delivery of the Digital Citizenship training course, including the design of the training pathway, the development of the training platform, and the coordination of the two training pilot cycles, as well as additional project deliverables.
