The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), is hosting an event on “University and the Social and Solidarity Economy: Innovation Ecosystems”, on 17 September 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00, in Athens, Greece (ETERON venue, 38–40 Leokoriou Street).
The event is co-organised with the Directorate of Social and Solidarity Economy of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family of Greece. It takes place within the framework of two European projects implemented by DAISSy-HOU as the sole Greek partner, namely the Training and Education in Social Innovation – Transnational Master (TESI-TN Master) and the Entrepreneurial and Innovation Proficiency: A Way to Digital Agenda (EPIDA).
This gathering will bring together representatives from higher education and research, institutional stakeholders, students, graduates, and practitioners from the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) sector. The goal is to foster meaningful dialogue on the role of higher education in advancing SSE, while matching education and research with real-world sector needs and practices.
