Nektaria Palaiologou is Professor at the School of Humanities at Hellenic Open University (HOU) and Director of the Master’s Program “Language Education for Refugees and Migrants” (LRM). She is a member of the Deanery at the School of Humanities. She is also Editor in Chief at the Intercultural Education Journal, Taylor and Francis, Routledge as well as Editorial Board member on frequent basis at seven international journals. She is the co-author of three books in Greek, edited four books in English language. She has published extensively at international journals in the following areas: Intercultural Education, Immigrant and Refugee Education, Teacher Education and Multilingualism, Diversity and educational programmes for culturally and linguistically diverse students. She is a representative for Sirius Network actions for Migrants and Refugees, in collaboration with the HOU, and she serves as Honorary Vice President of the International Association for Intercultural Education (IAIE).
