Dear all,
The Hellenic Open University (HOU), within the framework of the European University Alliance OpenEU, invites you to participate in the Online Workshop on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The aim of the Workshop is to identify and prioritize challenges related to five key Sustainable Development Goals:
Goal 4: Quality Education
Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Goal 13: Climate Action
Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
The ideas and proposals emerging from the Workshop will serve as the basis for designing innovative educational initiatives within the OpenEU framework.
By participating, you will have the opportunity to co-shape the priorities and actions that will strengthen the role of education in sustainable development.
The invitation is addressed to:
• Members of the academic community (faculty, researchers, and students),
• Representatives of public administration and local authorities,
• Representatives of businesses and professional associations,
• Representatives of civil society organizations.
Workshop Structure
- Opening Session (Plenary): Presentation of the OpenEU project, the workshop objectives, and methodology.
- Thematic Working Groups: Five groups, each dedicated to one Sustainable Development Goal, coordinated by group facilitators and rapporteurs.
- Participatory Proposal Prioritization: Participants will evaluate and prioritize the proposals arising from group discussions.
- Presentation and Summary of Results: Each group will present its key conclusions in the plenary session.
Certificate of Participation
All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation issued by the Hellenic Open University and the OpenEU project.
Additionally, representatives of businesses and organizations will receive a special certificate referencing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) indicators, recognizing their contribution to promoting sustainable practices.

Participation is free of charge, but pre-registration is required due to limited availability.
