The aim of the programme is to provide knowledge and skills in the management of business and organisational systems (private and public), in order to make more efficient their contribution to the operation of these entities, and to be able to take leadership initiatives in possible technological or organisational changes, necessary for the response of the Business or Organisation to the rapidly evolving international environment.

In particular, the aim of the programme is to create graduates who combine theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for the management of contemporary businesses and organisations (private and public). The globalisation of economic activity, European integration and the development of the new economy have contributed to the demand, on the part of modern economic units, for specialised human resources who can analyse, synthesise and act in the complex conditions that characterise the modern world of businesses and organisations.

Guidelines on Module selection

In the process of declaring Modules, firstly the Modules of the previous year must be completed and then the Modules of the following year must be declared.

When choosing Modules for the first year of study, students are recommended to choose the Modules DEO13 and DEO11, because these Modules are useful for the other Modules of the programme.

If they do not have sufficient time to study the above two Modules, it is recommended that they choose the Module DEO13. If they have enough time to choose a third Module in addition to the two Modules, DEO13 and DEO11, they may choose DEO10.

In the third year of study students must choose the Modules DEO31 and DEO34 and choose one more between DEO33 and DEO45.

In the fourth year of studies, students must choose the Modules DEO40 and DEO42 and choose one more between DEO41 and DEO44.

For the award of the Degree students must successfully complete 12 Modules.
