From 22 to 23 September 2022, in Athens, the DAISSy research team of Hellenic Open University hosted representatives of ministries, educators, professors and directors of 11 educational institutions from Greece, Spain, Cyprus and Bulgaria. The purpose of the meeting was the launch of project SpicE: Special Education STEAM Academy, which is coordinated by the DAISSy group of HOU and co-financed by the European Union through the ERASMUS+/Teacher Academies program. This three-year project aims to promote the visibility and inclusion of primary school students with mild disabilities, as well as the improvement and promotion of STEAM education in Special Education at European level.
