The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU) is the Greek partner in the “GenderED Coalition – A cross-country coalition against gender disinformation for equitable societies” European project, aiming at creating a safer and more equitable digital space by addressing gender disinformation and promoting positive social change.
A milostone activitiy of the GenderED Coalition project, is the creation of the Community of Practice (CoP), fostering synergies among MIL educators (civil society organization representatives, teachers, librarians, etc.), gender experts and activists, human rights advocates, social media influencers, media professionals, artists, researchers and policy makers. Its fundamental mission is to promote gender equality, eliminate gender stereotypes, and enhance Media and Information Literacy, by shaping a more equitable and inclusive future.
Joining the Community of Practice of the GenderED Coalition project is free of charge, open to all and provides access to valuable tools and interesting possibilities of action.
