Postdoctoral researcher in Corporate tax compliance

The position will be filled by 1 September 2021 and is available for a period of three years. Remuneration for successful candidate will be € 1.000 (gross) per month. The scientist on this position is expected to work independently but collaboratively with Dr. Evangelos Koumanakos. An excellent communication skill for scientific discussion is indispensable and proficiency in English is mandatory.
The position involves interdisciplinary empirical research on questions related to “corporate taxation”. Corporate tax evasion/avoidance, VAT compliance, tax enforcement and corruption are playing key roles for many of the global challenges such as poverty and inequality.
Your profile
- A successfully completed MSc and PhD degree in economics/mathematics (or comparable) preferably with a focus on empirical research in economics
- Good knowledge in (applied) econometrics
- Profound knowledge in statistical software (Stata, R, or similar)
