The aim of this Special Issue is to present Virtual & Augmented Reality technology as a game-changing approach used as a core element in effective teaching & learning environments, inside and outside of classrooms, to offer immersive and mixed reality learning experiences.

The Special Issue “Virtual/Augmented Reality Applications in Education & Life Long Learning” is now open for submission (Deadline: 31 March 2023). Original research and reviews which cover technological, sociological and pedagogical aspects of the Virtual/Augmented Reality technology in education are welcomed.
